BIOINFORMATICS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Genome Viewer Manager (in progress): A web based system that implements javascript using Nodejs, MongoDB, jquery, and HTML5 canvas technologies. The viewer/Manager will store, display, identify loci, and compare genome sequences.

Plasmid Viewer & Manager: A web based system written in javascript using Nodejs, MongoDB, jquery, and HTML5 canvas technologies.  The system manages plasmid storage, drawing, restriction mapping, virtual cloning, and NCBI blast. Site: plasmidtrek.com 

XPath Viewer: A desktop utility system written in WPF and C# technologies. Retrieves and compares data from xml files. 

Aralip- The Arabidopsis Acyl-Lipid MetabolismThis system is based on ruby on rails 2 and 3 frameworks and uses ruby language, MySQL database, jquery,  and other javascript technologies. Click here to see the site.

MarkerManager: This web system uses SVG interface, JavaScript, ruby language, and ruby on rails framework to manage, retrieve, parse, format, and write to and from excel files. Info is managed based on 96 well-formatted blocks of data.

SeekBlast: An Ajax ASP.Net web system written in .Net languages. The site is used to perform local and external blastn, blastp, blastx, tblastx, and text queries; allows the development of proprietary databases for blasting; generates multiple alignments using clustalw algorithm; draws schematic representations of blast and clustalw results.

Teamweb: An ASP.Net web system written in .Net language and utilizes SQL2000/SQL2005, and Internet Information Services. The site simplifies interaction of teams across different locations. The site provides fast and reliable messaging, private teams and discussion boards, file sharing, and project tracking.

SeekClone: A database desktop system written in Visual Basics V6.0 language and utilizes Access 2000 and Crystal Reports. The system is used to maintain and organize DNA constructs, primers, clone maps, and sequences.

MarkAnalPro: A utility desktop system written in Visual Basics V6.0 language and uses Excel object model. The program manages and collects data based on 96 well formatted blocks.

╬╝SatAssist: A utility desktop program written in Visual Basics V 6.0 language and utilizes Excel object model. It retrieves and identifies relevant microsatellites data generated by ABI instruments.

PlaExcel: A utility macro written in Excel Visual Basics for Application language. The program draws plasmids, displays restriction enzymes and open reading frames, can be used for cloning and sub-cloning, automates the drawing of constructs stored in GenBank, maintains color schemas between the drawing and the nucleotide sequence, and can blast sequence regions against Genbank. Program has many more features that are not listed here.

ProAssist: A utility desktop system written in Visual Basics V6.0 language and utilizes Crystal Reports. The system retrieves and formats information from ProCite database and prints on request forms.
